∞ Elizabeth Bear - Fiction - Shoggoths In Bloom

One of the best pieces of short fiction I’ve read in some time. This is a tightly wrapped story: a good premise, a well developed main character and a nice little upset of a conclusion. Exemplary. Do yourself a favor and take a few minutes to read it.
